In what capacity does your company collaborate with ELEVATE?
At Elevated Resources, we use ELEVATE as the VMS platform to deliver our talent management services. Elevated Resources was founded in 2007 and we are a global management service provider that helps middle-market companies to identify, hire and retain world-class talent.
What do you like best about working with us?
What I like best about working with ELEVATE is that we have a close relationship with the people there. The team always collaborates with us when we have changes to the technology platform. Everything we drive for is more focused on the outcome of how it interacts with people, rather than the tactical side. When you operate in an industry based on utilization of human resources, collaboration is imperative to your success. We love ELEVATE because it enables us to operate efficiently internally, which ultimately benefits our clients and suppliers.
Tell us about a favorite activity or cause that you are passionate about.
I have a number of favorite activities, all centered around athletics. I am fairly “outdoorsy” and I enjoy running, riding, swimming, and am a former triathlete. Now that I am older, I make a point of staying active in a lesser capacity and do my best to get outside as much as possible.
I terms of causes, I sit on the board of Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center which is a hospital that is focused on helping those in our community who are most at risk. I believe that compassion is something that should be practiced by everyone in our community and all people need access to the quality healthcare. This is a very rewarding passion of mine and like most things, if you are giving, you get back much more than what you give.
Family is also a passion of mine. I am a father to 13-year-old triplets. They are the ultimate joy in my life. I didn’t become a father until later in life, but as an older parent, I believe I have better perspective on what my children are experiencing. It also helps keep me young!
Do you have a leader that inspires you, and why?
I don’t have a leader that I look up to specifically. People such as Martin Luther King and Elon Musk are inspirational for obvious reasons, but I am most inspired by regular people that go above and beyond to help others. For instance, take Frank Siller. He formed the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, following his brother’s death on 9/11, turning his personal tragedy into triumph. I look for opportunities each day to surround myself with individuals that inspire and support, and that gives me great motivation to do the same.
