Meet Kara Schmid, Customer Success Specialist at ELEVATE. Kara has over five years of experience in the staffing industry as a Client Success Resource Manager, supporting multiple clients. Kara is responsible for customer support and product demos as well as working with our product team in developing product specifications.
We spoke with Kara about her thoughts on what Women’s History Month means to her:
ELEVATE: What message would you like to share with young girls out there to prepare them for success?
Kara: If you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room. Surround yourself with people who motivate, support, and push you to be your best, and always be unapologetically you!
ELEVATE: What is needed most to support women in the workplace?
Kara: Leaders who not only trust, respect and foster an inclusive culture, but who empower women by providing the opportunity to be heard and the encouragement to have a voice in the workplace.
