Meet Kelly May, Manager, Software Quality Assurance at ELEVATE SaaS. Kelly has over 20 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. She is a Certified Scrum Master. At ELEVATE, Kelly is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance process.
We spoke with Kelly about her thoughts on what Women’s History Month means to her:
ELEVATE: What message would you like to share with young girls out there to prepare them for success?
Kara: Always remember. You are BRAVER than you believe, STRONGER than you seem, SMARTER than you think and more BEAUTIFUL than you’d ever imagine.
ELEVATE: What is needed most to support women in the workplace?
Kara: Gender equality can be achieved in the workplace, only when the employers, process owners, managers and team leads have a broad and open-minded policy. If most of the departments within the enterprise are gender-biased, then it will surely affect the growth of the company in the long term. Employees should be appreciated based on their talent and performance, and not by the employer’s personal favorites.
